Collagen Lip: Before you use collagen injection, consult a licensed physician

A report was issued by the Harvard Medical School and a new product are being developed that is designed to create new collagen, as it is needed. Named Isolagen, it uses a sample of your own skin to duplicate fibroblasts, the cells that make collagen. Because this is a new method, the long-term effects are not known.

Any person who watches movies or television understands the results of what happens when these procedures are overdone. A lot of famous actresses end up with lips that remind us of Bozo the Clown from over enthusiastic collagen injections. You should always go to a doctor that is experienced in this procedure and be up front with him about the results that you expect to have.

When correctly done, the results are usually not detectable and very natural looking, and give you another weapon against wrinkles and crinkles in your face.
